Beginners can learn to paint without drawing skills. Intermediate students achieve and develop more sophisticated techniques. Advanced students will improve skills and critical analysis. ‘In the Garden I get inspiration, create impossible gardens through trial and error.

From Beginners to Advanced – Starting with basic techniques, learning about art materials, how to hold the brush, mixing colour and the versatile techniques of oil paint. Develop confidence by beginning with painting an easy-to-manage colour palette and developing skills in different genres such as landscape, portraiture and florals.
As you develop, the course will adapt to your chosen themes and techniques, including realism, impressionism and abstract expressionism.

The essential art kit is a must when you are starting out as a beginner in Oil Painting. The kit gives you the best set of starting materials and includes everything you need to start painting immediately.
No returns or cancellations after the commencement of the first class. Courses can be placed on hold until a later date, please give sufficient notice for delaying a course. It is possible to reschedule up to 3 classes, as long as notice is provided.
